Texas Advocacy Project
Amanda Elkanick is currently the victim services specialist with Texas Advocacy Project. Ms. Elkanick has been involved in the movement for the past 10 years in varying roles. She has worked as a shelter advocate, program director and policy analyst over the years. Because of the various positions she has held, she brings an invaluable perspective to her work on a statewide level. She has served on many different task forces, community planning groups, and committees that are centered on ending intimate partner violence.
