National Crime Victim Law Institute
Meg Garvin is the Director of the National Crime Victim Law Institute and a clinical Professor at Lewis & Clark Law School. Ms. Garvin has testified on victims' rights before Congress, state legislatures, and the Judicial Proceedings Panel on Sexual Assault in the Military. She serves on the Victims Advisory Group of the U.S. Sentencing Commission and the Defense Advisory Committee on Investigations, Prosecution, and Defense of Sexual Assault in the Armed Forces. She has served as co-chair of the ABA's Criminal Justice Section Victims Committee. Previously, Ms. Garvin practiced law in Minnesota and clerked for the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
