FAQ

REGISTRATION

Registration for CCAW 2027 will open in the fall.  It typically takes around 15 minutes per person to complete.

In order to register you will need:

  • Email address: We will be sending important conference communications to this email. It is our main form of communication. Please use a working email that you are able to access and check regularly.
  • Attendee information
  • Payment information

Registration stays open, however we encourage you to register online in advance.

Groups of 5-15 people will automatically get $25 off per person, once the fifth person is added within registration. If you have more than 15 people in a group, you will have to do two rounds of registration.

Please note: Do not register until you have a final list of everyone in the group. You cannot go back in and add more group members once you’ve registered the group. They can of course always register separately on their own, but they will not get the group discount.

Assign a Group Leader: For the most efficient way of registering a group, the group leader will need to collect all attendees’ information. All information needed can be found below. You’ll need all the information requested to complete registration on behalf of your team members

Step 1: After you have collected all attendee information, go to the Summary page.
Step 2: Click the “Register Now” button.
Step 3: Complete the requested fields for the first, primary attendee, click next.
Step 4: Select the Conference Registration ticket item, click next.
Step 5: Fill out the Details for the first attendee, click next.
Step 6: Choose any of the Add On items if the first attendee would like them, click next.
Step 7: Fill out the Terms of Agreement, click next.
Step 8: Review your Summary page and ensure that everything looks correct. If not, use the back button at the bottom of the page and go back to make your adjustments.
Step 9: Click “Add Group Member” at the bottom of the Summary page
Step 10: Repeat Steps 3-14 until you have added all attendees you would like to add to your group (if you have more than 15, you will need to complete the first group registration and then start the process over for a second group). Click next.
Step 11: Complete your registration by choosing your payment method and clicking submit. There will be a confirmation number after the registration process is completed. Each registered attendee should also receive a confirmation email. If they don’t see it in their inbox, please be sure to have them check their spam/trash folder.

This confirmation email will include the receipt. Using this group registration process, your team’s registrations will be paid for in the same transaction.

CCAW is not sponsored by OVW, but grantees may still be eligible to use OVW grant funds to attend.

We recommend reaching out to your grant manager for approval. Once approved, your grant manager will guide you through the process of using OVW grant funds to attend CCAW.

Per Rebekah Jones, Acting Deputy Director for Tribal Affairs, OVW Tribal Governments Program, Tribal Jurisdictions Program, Tribal Sexual Assault Services Program, and Tribal Coalitions Program grantees are authorized to support registration and travel costs for up to three (3) Tribal leaders or Tribal representatives to attend the 2026 Conference on Crimes Against Women utilizing grant funds, without seeking additional authorization from their OVW Grants Management Specialist though a Grant Award Modification (GAM) in JustGrants. If a Tribal grantee requests to cover costs for more than three (3) attendees, please contact your OVW Tribal Grant Management Specialist for approval. Grantees should ensure sufficient travel funds are available in their approved grant award budget to cover these costs, including funds available for grantee required annual travel.  Grantees should keep a copy of this notice in their grant file for audit purposes.

Yes, we do offer a limited number of scholarships to those who meet specific requirements. Please check this page for information.

Transfer of registration to another person may be done without penalty via the online registration site. There are no fees associated with the transfer. CCAW does not handle this for you. Please navigate to the Cancellation Policy page for instructions on how to do this.

The large majority of sessions are first come first serve, meaning you do not have to register in advance.

There are a few sessions that have limited capacity and require pre-registration and payment. These sessions will be displayed on the “Add-ons” page within registration. To sign up for these, you must modify your registration.

CCAW encourages persons with disabilities to participate in our programs. Please contact Megan Smith, msmith@conferencecaw.org if you have a specific request or accommodation.

We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
