REGISTRATION
How can I make a change to my registration information (name, address, etc.)?
Upon completion of registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Included in this e-mail is a link to view or modify your registration as well as payment information. Follow the link to return to your conference registration. Enter your confirmation number (provided in the e-mail) to access your registration. You will then be able to make any changes or modifications to your registration that are necessary.
How do I cancel my registration for the Conference?
Cancellations made before April 7, 2023 will be charged a $100 service fee and issued a refund. If you cancel after April 7, 2023, you will NOT be refunded. However, you will be able to transfer your registration to another attendee/person from your organization at no extra cost. Email info@conferencecaw.org if you would like to cancel.
How do I transfer my registration (make a substitution)?
Transfer of registration to another person may be done without penalty via the online registration site. There are no fees associated with the transfer. Click the Modify Registration button in your original confirmation email or on this page. Update the attendee information section with the information for the new person attending in your place.
What meals are included in the registration fee?
Registration includes continental breakfast Monday through Thursday. Lunch and dinner are on your own.
Can I use OVW funding to attend?
OVW has conditionally approved their grantees to attend the conference. Grantees must submit a Grant Award Modification (GAM) requesting approval to use their OVW travel funds to attend this conference. The reference number can be found through the link below. This number must be used by grantees when requesting approval to attend the conference. This approval and assigned reference number is for this conference only.
Do you offer scholarships?
Yes, we do offer a limited number of scholarships to those who meet specific requirements. Applications typically open in November. Please check back on this page for updates.
Are international attendees eligible to attend?
The Conference on Crimes Against Women is proud to welcome international attendees! (Please note: The Conference does not provide letters of invitation.)
What if I was given credit from the 2022 Conference?
Because this is not something we typically offer and do not have an automated process for, it is your responsibility to request credit when registering for the 2023 conference. To do so, please email info@conferencecaw.org your 2022 confirmation number and the date of any email correspondence.

How do I get a receipt or invoice for my Conference registration?
Upon completion of registration, you will have the option to print your invoice or receipt. You will also receive a confirmation email. Included in this email is a link to view or modify your registration, update your payment information, or print your receipt/invoice. If you require different documentation or a more detailed invoice, please contact our Conference staff by email at info@conferencecaw.org.

What is the payment deadline if I am paying with a Check or Purchase Order?
Checks must be postmarked by April 7, 2023 to receive early bird pricing OR by April 28, 2023 for regular pricing. Purchase Orders must be emailed to info@conferencecaw.org by April 7, 2023 to receive early bird pricing OR by April 28, 2023 for regular pricing.
If your check is postmarked later than the April 28th deadline, or your Purchase Order is not emailed by April 28th, you will have to pay in full by credit card or your registration will be cancelled and you will be charged a $100 cancellation fee per person.
You must register by April 14, 2023 if you want to pay with a check or purchase order. After that day, we only accept credit card as form of payment.
If you are paying with purchase order, you may provide the check upon arrival to the conference OR mail the check once the conference ends. We must receive your check within 30 days once the conference ends.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit card, check, or purchase order for conference registration. You must register by April 14, 2023 if you want to pay with a check or purchase order. ACCREDITATION
Will I be able to receive continuing education credit at the Conference?
CCAW is pleased to offer a variety of accreditation options. Visit our accreditation page for detailed information on how to receive CEU hours and the types of accreditation offered.
How do I get my certificate?
Upon completion of the post-conference survey, attendees will receive a CCAW certificate with relevant course numbers for reporting. To receive accreditation, each attendee must report their attendance to their individual reporting agency. It is up to each individual reporting agency to accept eligible hours and report those hours.

Is the Conference virtual or in person?
The Conference on Crimes Against Women is scheduled to be fully in-person in May 2023.
Is there a dress code?
Conference attendees should dress professional / business casual.

Who is eligible to attend?
The Conference is conducted for the sole purpose of providing training to only those people employed by governmental or non-profit agencies in the fields of law enforcement, prosecution, civil attorneys who work with female victims of crime, corporate safety professionals, judges, emergency telecommunications, tribal groups, military, social work, victim’s advocacy, therapy, and medicine and to other professionals who work directly with victims of crime.
The management of the Conference reserves the right to refuse admission to any individual who does not meet these criteria. If you have any questions about if you qualify to attend this Conference, please contact our staff by email at info@conferencecaw.org.
How do I get my certificate?

What does the conference schedule look like?
Click HERE to view this year’s program. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday sessions usually go from 8:00am-5:00pm with breaks in between and networking events or film screenings in the evening. Thursday sessions go from 8:00am-11:30am.
How much is the parking at the Sheraton?
Conference attendees can park in the Sheraton garage for $15.00 plus tax per day. Valet parking is $29.00 plus tax.
