When will registration open?

Registration is open! Register here, it typically takes around 15 minutes per person to complete.

In order to register you will need:

  • Email address: We will be sending important conference communications to this email. It is our main form of communication. Please use a working email that you are able to access and check regularly.
  • Attendee information
  • Payment information

When is the last day to register?

The deadline to register online is May 19, 2024, the day before the start of the conference.

Please note: There are different deadlines if you are wanting to pay by a method other than credit card.

We accept on-site registrations at the Registration Desk as well. We only accept credit card as form of payment on-site.

Are there any discounts available?


  • We offer an early bird discount to all attendees who register by March 1, 2024.
  • We offer groups of 5 or more people $25 off per person. This discount will automatically be applied within registration. Please go to the Group Registration page for instructions.

Can I use OVW funding to attend?

All programs:

OVW Grantees from the Tribal Governments, Tribal Special Assistant US Attorney, Performance, Legal Assistance for Victims, Assessment, Research and Evaluation program(s) do not have to submit a GAM or obtain permission from their program specialist.

OVW Grantees from the Justice for Families, Culturally Specific Services, Transitional Housing, Sexual Assault Services Culturally Specific, Disability, Underserved, State Coalitions, STOP, Campus, Restorative Justice, Consolidated Youth, Engaging Men, and Rural program(s) are required to submit a GAM to get approval specific to their awards.

OVW Grantees from the Tribal Sexual Assault Services, Tribal Coalitions, Tribal Jurisdiction, Abuse in Later Life, and Improving Criminal Justice Responses program(s) are required to contact their program specialist directly for approval.

Tribal programs:

Per Sherriann Moore, OVW Deputy Director for Tribal Affairs, Tribal Governments Program, Tribal Jurisdictions Program, Tribal Sexual Assault Services Program, and Tribal Coalitions Program grantees are authorized to support registration and travel costs for up to three (3) tribal leaders or tribal representatives to attend the 2024 Conference on Crimes Against Women, utilizing grant funds, without seeking additional specific authorization from their OVW grant managers through submission of a Grant Award Modification (GAM) in JustGrants. If a tribal grantee requests to cover costs for more than 3 tribal attendees, please contact your OVW Tribal Grant Management Specialist for approval. Grantees should ensure sufficient travel funds are available in their approved grant award budget to cover these costs, including funds available for other grantee required annual travel.  Grantees should keep a copy of this notice in their grant file for audit purposes.

Do you offer scholarships?

Yes, we do offer a limited number of scholarships to those who meet specific requirements. Applications typically open in November. Please check back on this page for updates.

How can I make a change to my registration information (name, address, etc.)?

Upon completion of registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Included in this e-mail is a link to view or modify your registration as well as payment information. Follow the link to return to your conference registration. Enter your confirmation number (provided in the e-mail) to access your registration. You will then be able to make any changes or modifications to your registration that are necessary.

How do I transfer my registration (make a substitution)?

Transfer of registration to another person may be done without penalty via the online registration site. There are no fees associated with the transfer. We allow attendees to transfer their registration up until May 19, 2024. CCAW does not handle this for you. Please navigate to the Cancellation Policy page for instructions on how to do this.

Do I have to register for individual sessions in advance?

The large majority of sessions are first come first serve, meaning you do not have to register in advance.

There are a few sessions that have limited capacity and require pre-registration and payment. These sessions will be displayed on the “Add-ons” page within registration. To sign up for these, you must modify your registration.

What services are available for ADA needs and requests?

CCAW encourages persons with disabilities to participate in our programs. Please contact Megan Smith, no later than April 1, 2024 if you have a specific request or accommodation.

We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Are international attendees eligible to attend?

The Conference on Crimes Against Women is proud to welcome international attendees! (Please note: The Conference does not provide letters of invitation.)

How do I cancel my registration for the Conference?

To cancel your registration, click Modify Registration below or in your confirmation email, enter your email and confirmation number, then click the Cancel Registration button.

Registrations cancelled by April 5, 2024 will be eligible for a refund, less a $100.00 service fee. If you cancel after April 5, you will not be refunded. However, you will be able to transfer your registration to another attendee/person from your organization at no extra cost. The $40.00 service fee for purchase orders is nonrefundable. CCAW is not responsible for problems beyond our control such as COVID related cancellations, health issues, weather conditions, etc.

Can I change my payment method to credit card and pay online after registering?

Yes. Click here. Click the Already Registered button at the top of the page. Log in with your email and confirmation number. Click Submit Payment.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept credit card throughout the entirety of online registration, which closes on May 19, 2024.

If you want to pay by check or purchase order, you must register by April 5, 2024. After this date, only credit card is accepted.

Where do I send my payment / check?

All payments should be made out to the Conference on Crimes Against Women and can be sent to the following address:

What is the payment deadline if I am paying with a Check or Purchase Order?

Check Policy:

  • You must register by April 5, 2024.
  • Your check must be postmarked by April 15, 2024 to be valid.

Purchase Order Policy:

  • Nonrefundable service fee of $40.00.
  • Your PO must be emailed to by April 15, 2024 to be valid.
  • Check payments for PO’s must be received by our office no later than 30 days after the conference is over, meaning, your check must be in our hands by June 24, 2024 or you will be charged a late fee of $100.00 per person.

If we do not receive your check or purchase order by the deadline it will not be valid. You will have to pay in full by credit card by May 19 or your registration will be cancelled.

We strongly encourage you to register online ahead of time, but we do accept registrations on site at the conference (credit card only).

How do I get a receipt or invoice for my Conference registration?

Upon completion of registration, you will have the option to print your invoice or receipt. You will also receive a confirmation email. Included in this email is a link to view or modify your registration, update your payment information, or print your receipt/invoice. If you require different documentation or a more detailed invoice, please contact our Conference staff by email at

Will I be able to receive continuing education credit at the Conference?

Yes. On the Agenda, we list eligible CEUs. To receive credit hours on your certificate, you must scan into sessions with your badge.

Accreditation details for 2024 are coming soon. For a list of CEU opportunities and approved programs from 2023, you may click on the Accreditation page.

90 minute workshops are worth 1.5 credit hours. All of the sessions that you scan into will be listed on your certificate.


How do I get my certificate?

To receive credits on your certificate, you must scan your badge when walking into a session. If you don’t do this, you will not receive credit. Immediately following the Conference, you will receive an email link to complete the Overall Conference Evaluation. Once this evaluation is complete, you can access your certificate that will reflect all of your scanned workshops attended.

To receive accreditation, each attendee must report their attendance to their individual reporting agency. It is up to each individual reporting agency to accept eligible hours and report those hours.

The survey for 2023 CCAW was emailed to all attendees on May 31. Please check your inbox and junk/spam folder.


When and where will 2024 CCAW be held?

When: May 20-23, 2024

CCAW is 3.5 days, with 16-17 sessions in each time slot, and over 220 sessions.

We are fully in-person. There are no virtual or hybrid options available.

Who is eligible to attend?

The Conference is conducted for the sole purpose of providing training to only those people employed by governmental or non-profit agencies in the fields of law enforcement, prosecution, civil attorneys who work with female victims of crime, corporate safety professionals, judges, emergency telecommunications, tribal groups, military, social work, victim’s advocacy, therapy, and medicine and to other professionals who work directly with victims of crime.

What does the conference schedule look like?

The Agenda is now available and can be found under ‘Attend’ > ‘2024 Program’ > ‘Agenda’ or by clicking HERE.

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday sessions will be offered from 8:00am-5:30pm with breaks in between and networking events or film screenings in the evening. Thursday sessions will be offered from 8:00am-11:30am with a break in between.

How can I access the conference recordings and handouts?

The recordings are available for attendees for one year after the conference ends. If you attended 2023 CCAW, you may access them here with the password.

What meals are included in the registration fee?

Registration includes continental breakfast Monday through Thursday. Lunch and dinner are not provided, but many lunch and dinner options are available within or surrounding the Sheraton hotel.

Is there a dress code?

Conference attendees should dress professional / business casual.

How much is the parking at the Sheraton?

Conference attendees can park in the Sheraton garage for $15.00 plus tax per day. Valet parking is $29.00 plus tax.

How do I get my certificate?
